The Designer
Carmen Esteban is the Creative Director and the soul behind this brand. With LORNA EARTH, she celebrates her love for design and wellness, approaching fashion from a holistic point of view.
The first footsteps on the path to this journey were those of a daydreamer girl who spent her days painting, dancing and making up stories.
It was when her grandmother taught her how to sew that she began interested in all kind of fabrics, textures and colours. Always inspired by nature and human behaviour, Carmen has always been keen on selfcare and expressing her emotions through art, where she finds it easy to open up and show her most vulnerable side.
During her years studying Fashion Design, Carmen felt she didn’t fully belong to the fashion world of ephemeral trends, banality and its consequences for the environment.
Nevertheless, she has always designed from a conscious and friendly viewpoint. It was back when she lived in Dublin that the world shut down due to Covid-19 and she took a few months resting and going out for coffee and strolls along the beach, where she came up with the idea of creating a lifestyle community where people were inspired to express themselves and encouraged to prioritise mental health.
